This course is designed for graduate university students and entrepreneurs to explore the distinctions between green energy and alternative energy, understand various energy sources, and discuss the specific perspectives for Armenia in the context of sustainable energy solutions. This course is designed by ECTI scholars who have completed a TOT organized by the UCL Bartlett School of Environment, Energy, and Resources. It aims to provide a clear understanding of the differences between green energy and alternative energy, educate students on various energy sources and their implications, and analyze and discuss the potential of green and alternative energy in Armenia.
By the end of this course, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to critically assess energy sources, understand their differences, and contribute to the development of sustainable energy strategies in Armenia.
